Good Witch Glinda is one of the two overarching protagonists (alongside the Wizard of Oz) of The Wizard of Oz franchise.

She is a kind sorceress who helps and guides Dorothy Gale on her quest to Emerald City to see the Wizard of Oz to send her back to Kansas.

In the 1939 version, she was portrayed by the late Billie Burke.
